Dan Doney

Co-Founder and CEO

Mr. Doney has extensive experience in strategic leadership, information technology operations, emerging technology development and finance positions in both Government and Private sectors. Prior to founding Securrency in 2015, Mr. Doney served as the Chief Innovation Officer at the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) under then-director General Flynn. Mr. Doney holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy in both Control Systems Engineering and Economics, and a M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Nuclear Engineering.

Ron Poe

Co-Founder and Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Poe brings an entrepreneurial career with executive-level engagement in the information technology industry, having served large companies including IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, EMC, Oracle and Dell to numerous start-up companies from the Silicon Valley; including having lived in Japan for 11 years where was CEO of a firm sold to a private equity fund. Mr. Poe holds a B.S. in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.

John Hensel

Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President

Mr. Hensel is a U.S. Navy Captain (Ret.) with 25 years of Service; Combat Veteran Pilot with Command and Senior Program Management experience in Major Defense Acquisition Programs. Former Director International Programs for Maritime Aircraft. Extensive executive-level decision making, communication, and negotiating skills in support of multi-billion-dollar Foreign Military Sales programs representing U.S. Government, International Partner, and Industry interests. Mr. Hensel holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy, a M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and a M.A. from the Naval War College, Newport, RI.
